Sheepscot Valley Community Church is proud to offer many different small groups for people to join. Such groups involve Bible studies, Prayer meetings, and other community groups. | Community Bible Study | This is your chance to join us in study the bible. This time allows you to discuss and find out what these important messages mean to you and others in the group. Monday's group has been dropped for the time being as there was only three couples attending and we have decided to move Men's group to Monday. | Women's Bible Group | Become a Woman of Righteous Confidence. Angela Thomas uses dancing to describe living fully in Christ's love. Come and learn about life in perfect step with Christ's love for you.Enjoy a grown-up, passionate life, free of emptiness and fear. Inside the strength of His embrace, you can become the woman you have always wanted to be... the one He dreamed of when He created you. | Men's Bible Group | Winning at Work & Home, a 16-session study, focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man's chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way. | Monday at 6:00PM |
| Prayer Meeting | This is a time where anyone can come and pray either as a group or individually. We understand that people's lives are busy and you may not have a chance to think about prayer. We want to help with that by offering you a place to slow down and think about what you or someone you know needs prayer about. | Sundays After Service |
| Ladies Crop & Craft Night | Here at SVCC, Amanda Lincoln and Carrie Dancer will be leading a Ladies Crop & Craft Night. All scrap booking materials and snacks will be provided. All you need to bring is photographs you want to scrape book with and any other craft materials you would like to do. So come have a great time of fellowship and fun. | TBD, 6:00pm to 10:00pm |
| Adult Sunday School | Like Community Group, this is a chance to study the Bible and learn what it means to us. This class will also help people understand how we can use the teachings of the Bible in our own lifes. While the Community Groups focus more on relaitionships with one another, Sunday School will be more about the Biblical teachings of the Lord and His Word. NOTE: At this time there is only one class which is held upstairs and is more focus on the overall teachings the Bible offers. Breakfast is offered during these times. | Sunday 9:30am to 10:30am |
| Teen Group Night | SVCC is currently working on starting a program for the teens of the community. We want to make it comfortable for all teens to come and have fun. This can even give the teenagers a chance to talk about things they would normally hold back in fear that they will be criticized. Our pastor, Les Dancer, will be at these group nights to talk to anyone that is struggling in their lives and needs someone to talk to in private. SVCC also wants to make these nights fun all at the same time as making these nights a good way to come together and meet new people and make new friends. If you have any ideas, please email the
